Our Fourth of July was spent in the pool and at the fireworks with our good friends the Lees; it was an unusually late night for Taggert since fireworks don't even begin till past his bedtime--but we enjoyed it despite and because of that--He laid down on his mommy and almost fell asleep while we were waiting for the show to start :)This was Tagg's second Fourth (although the first time he didn't see anything due to the fact that he slept through the whole thing!), and he enjoyed the bright display in the sky from the comfort of Daddy's lap and next to Mommy (he assumed that sweet position next to me on his own!)!
Always the daredevil, he got some serious quality time in the pool that day! (Thanks for both of our swimsuits, Mom!!)
Oooooooooooooooh!!! How adorable Tagg's expressions of wonder and awe are! The look on his face is priceless--and what a cute video of his jumps into your beautiful pool into his Mommy's ever-loving arms. It was sweet to see his backing up for the running jump and then the "halt." You could just see his resolve to make the leap. Once he mastered it, I bet he could have repeated it all day without getting tired of it. Isn't it amazing to see the progress little folks make every single day?!?!
