Gabi Christmas 2010

As always, we were really looking forward to Gabriela's visit!
This was the first time the birthday girls had met (they are 10 years apart-to the day!)

Our Georgia girl had fun in the cold cold snow... And Spiderman found out just how uninsulated his beloved suit turned out to be. Gabi built a nest of sorts for some huge icicles we knocked down.

Throwing snowballs at the sliding door and sledding down the porch steps were a couple other highlights.

We LOVE these jumping places! Perfect for our whole family! (Thank goodness for that sling :)

Family picture options... And Grandma Kim comes through with a new outfit to take the cake :)

We, along with Grandma and Grandpa Klaiss, got all decked out in our pj's to look at Christmas lights...

Even little Brig got to join in the festivities!

And we enjoyed all the everyday playtime moments, too--we love love love this girl!!
Ever since I met her, she has always had fun ideas for playtime and has been silly and funny and kind. It's wonderful to see Tagg & Reece enjoy those things about her, too.

Mommy & Brigham

The Brigham has always been such a good friend to all of us! He can always be counted to be a cuddy guy to chill out with...

Or, slightly less often, an energetic pal to roll around with!
Speaking of rolling around, I love love wrestling around with the Taggert! ...Maybe I like it because the only kind of wrestling I'm good at is the very gentle kind :)
Grandma and Grandpa Klaiss sent Tagg a balloon art kit, and my attempts produced many many popped balloons ("pop-ba-doon" in Tagg speak) and this "flower." After all those popbadoons I was a little bummed that the flower didn't look at all like the picture in the instructional book, but my spirits sure lifted when Tagg came into the room and, upon being presented with my creation, exclaimed, "FWOWIE!" (aka "flower" :)

Tagg is so sweet--he likes playing the parent and taking care of me the way I take care of him :)

Sometimes Tagg plays with my hair, which I love of course!

I've never seen what it's like on his end before, though, cuz you can't really look at someone's face while they're playing with your hair... I guess I always figured he had some sweet "I adore my Mommy" look in his eyes, but turns out he's got more of a "This hair is ticklish and knotty!" look :)

We love the Brigham!

In honor of his 21st dog-birthday on May 16th, I wanted to make a little post about how much I love the Brigham. He has been just the best dog ever since the beginning! He always loves me--and shows me he loves me (like he's doing in the picture above :) even when I get mad or don't speak very nicely to him... and unconditional love is one of the most motivating things to me! He is so cuddly and he knows just how to make me feel a bit better when I'm sad. He is adorable and very good with Taggert, he doesn't shed and only barks when he thinks we're in danger--what more could we ask for?!
I love you Brigham!

Whaddya know--another random post!

This is a classic Tagg face! He is really into putting things into other things, so pockets are pretty awesome right now! These are his Daddy's Star Wars guys from when he was a kid! Very very generous, and Tagg appreciates it so much!
He's very focused when he's on one of these very important missions!

I love how creative he is!

My friend Mischaelle has two really cute little dogs. I went over to her house to take some pictures of them together, and then I edited the best ones on http://www.picnik.com/ -- I think they turned out really good! :) Here are the before-and-afters!

Tagg's favorite toys right now are Gabi's old My Little Ponies... which might be a little disturbing to those concerned with his manhood--but...
... is setting up horses a bit more manly if they are promptly run over by a train?
Tagg has been in a pretty chill mood lately, mostly due to the horrible teething bout he just got over.

We had our friends' dog Bowden over for a couple days while they were out of town--we were so glad to return the favor, since so many kind souls have welcomed Brigham into their homes for us! Bowden is such a sweet dog. He was a good friend to Brigham, Tagg, me and Jed! We actually miss him! :)
