Santa, the Tree, and Glorious Packaging!

Here's little Tagg, livin the dream! Yes, he got into a present before Christmastime. Joy to the Tagg!

You may be noticing some pretty neat edited pictures on our blog postings... this really fun website, http://www.picnik.com/, allows you to edit your pictures using such neat tools--without downloading any programs or anything! Anyway, I really enjoy it! Which one of these version of this sweet picture do you like the best?
Tagg wasn't 100% sure about this whole Santa business!

But we got some cute pictures anyway!

This nice couple in a nearby neighborhood dresses up as Santa & Mrs. Claus every year and they totally dress up their house, too--inside and out! I drove by one day and noticed a sign in their front yard saying to bring your kids and cameras on the 17th and 18th cuz Santa woud be visiting! So we did! It was fun--they were really nice! We were the only ones there at the time and we ended up talking politics with the Claus's for like 20 minutes! Who'd'a thought?!

Who doesn't love bubble wrap? (I have to admit, there were two sheets of it in the package... I popped one with glee while Tagg was taking a nap! Mwah ha ha!)

Christmas Eve!

My sweet Grandma (the one whose head got eaten by Taggert in a previous post) made this advent calendar for her two wonderful children when they were young. I grew up with it, and somehow the stars aligned and I ended up with it as an adult, too! Yahoo! So every December day, Tagg & I indulged in an old family tradition! Here we are on Christmas Eve, putting the star on top of the tree!

Thanks, Jed, for taking these pictures! Love you!!!!

Christmas Morning!

Another Christmas Party!!!

Our good friends the Lees are so kind to always invite us over to celebrate holidays with them--we feel like we're a part of their family, which is wonderful because we don't have much family here to spend time with! They have a wonderful Christmas Eve tradition of splitting up into teams and doing a service scavenger hunt, after which the teams vie for the title of Best Service Group of the Eve! It's extremely fun!
One of the groups went to the firehouse to do service, and one of the boys let Taggert wear the fireman's hat he got!
After the scavenger hunt, Tagg enjoyed banging on their piano...
And Jed enjoyed strumming on their guitar!
...Everybody else enjoyed the entertainment, too!

The Christmas Party

The wonderful Skinnells invited us over for a Christmas Pajama Party! It was the best! The Owens' came, too! Here we are in front of their gorgeous tree!
Mischaelle made the most beautiful food--so I just had to honor it with a photo on our blog.

This is a cake! What a gift! :)
This is a cream cheese dip formed by hand into a Christmas tree! She let us take it home and finish it off--boy, was it delicious!
Tagg has really taken to our missionaries--here he is with one of the Elders that came to the PJ party (they came in their suits :)
